MY Build so Far
Well I started my build recently to finish my car and get it ready for competition drift it I ever get good enough, probably not but its been fun so far, about 50-60 hours spent. Check out.
Videos Stitch Welding Seems YouTube - Project Build Painting engine bay YouTube - Project Build Drifting Video from Vegas, mine is the fourth car, and the peace sign in slow mo youll see lol... Vegas Drift 008 DoriMonster Drift Team on Vimeo Had to JB Weld a Wheel stud in becuase the teeth were worn down.... When the engine was ready to pull we started pulling out all the interior Then it was on to removing the Sound dending material. This fucking sucks lol takes fing forever dry ice works well exvcept the curved surfaces. Cleaned it up alittle Tac Welded Seems in the engine bay so far and started to paint More pictures to follow painting second coat on engine bay, and primering the inside interior tomorrow, as well as stich welding the seams. Tell me what you think I have spent way to much time in this car, should I stay black exterior or white im doing baby blue as engine bay and interior.. |

actually, I've used JBWeld for the exact same reason on one of my wheel studs and I'm pleased(and grateful) to say it has been holding up quite well.
Edit: busteds13 beat me to it. same here...

yeah, i never got around to properly fixing it either. i don't think it much matters once everything is torqued down anyway. and what, worst case scenario i snap a wheel stud? that'd make like a dozen in my book.

Sorry to say man but you painted over the brake lines and the Windshield wiper motor too. If you went this far you should have just stripped everything out and put the car on the turkey roaster and do the underside as well.

This is not a build thread.
Post a thread explaining everything you did, when the car is near completion. Not when you are just tearing things apart. There is a difference between being an "amatuer" and doing things half-assed.
