sr20det making really silent ticking noise, gets louder as reves go up.. timing chan?

Would the tick go away if you unplug the injector harness *one at the time* to see if it is the injector? then again, ticking, it could be anything. Depends on where its coming from. Mine was on bottom end, turns out my rods were knocking.

that would be an understatement...im on my 3rd long block in 2 yrs. the first one died with a bad oil pump, the 2nd started knocking after the hose i was using on my crankcase breather collapsed and melted shut.
