Feels good driving this car around again. Not sure if I'll keep these wheels but they look better than I thought they would! Also the welded diff sounds like it's going to explode with grippy tires in the rear, so that's tight.

I owned this entire kit (the ABS version not the FRP version) back in 2004... I have yet to find another kit that I love as much. |

also, just a heads up... you owned the urethane version, not ABS plastic. curious though, what happened to your kit? youre one of 4 people to ever bring any of those parts to the US (im the 5th). im assuming you got your kit thru Sam at J-Spec given he was the master distributor for GP Sports in the early 2000s here. |

i needed the money from the mold for a few things and the aero bumpers had run their course for me. i was selling 1, maybe 2 of them a month at most. demand dropped off for me (when i announced i was no longer going to be making em, people snatched up my left over stock super quick lol). i also had a few things change with my urethane shop and i now have to buy all of the parts made in my batches out right. pre-selling bumpers, transporting them and keeping my urethane shop to a deadline (which they never achieve) were just all becoming a major pain in the ass. i sold a few hundred of the bumpers thru its life span, so i was happy with the over all outcome of the project.
www.carbonfiberhoods.com bought the mold from me and now sell the bumpers. they use a different manufacturer out in Cali though and i haven personally seen or mounted one of theirs so i have no idea what its like. Quote:

Urethane/ABS, whatever it was it wasn't FRP nor was it the flexible FRP that CWest kits used to have. I sold it after I wrecked my car in 2004. The original FS thread is still here on Zilvia but the person that bought it isn't on any forums... https://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=62880 now that I'm looking at the thread, I had a full kit but not the GPSports side skirt... I remembered why: I hated the vent design. Front/rear was perfect but the sides just weren't for me. |

took me 3 years of patiently waiting for the valances to pop up in Japan and ran me roughly $1200... but it was worth it as im happy to be able to bring these parts back from the dead so folks can enjoy them again, even if they are one of the most obscure aero bits from history. |

Sick video tuzzio. Do you have any write-ups on the projectors you used in your bricks?
