hard starting problems (when car is at runing temp)
well here's the deal on my 240sx with the ka24de- i have everything seemingly running correctly. then the test drive- the car drives good until i turn around and get on the gas. the car started heating up abnormally- put the car in park and it starts cooling down. i turn the car off and notice a funny smell. try to start the car and nothing. (ive done this a few times and same thing every time). i don't know if its vapor locked or what I can disconnect the fuse for the gas pump and the car will idle for a few seconds before it dies- if i reconnect the fuse before it dies it runs until i shut it off again and then the same problem persists. the only thing I can think of is the engine coolant temp sensor being bad. if anyone has any ideas let me know.
