Bad sign of my KA/NA

Yesterday I posted about doing paint job on my lovely s14 96.
I was chilling and exciting to see her in nice paint, but heaven may be hate me.
While I was driving and about home I start hearing knocking sound from the engine. It is not usual knocking sound that you heard from almost every old car.
It is louder than that.

I took a v. clip and put in you tube.
This sound is really kill me; I'm really worried that my motor is done.
Engine oil is there, and regularly change with either Purple or Mobile 1.
I really hope that some of you heard and know what it is..

Thanks in advance.
PS. I dropped my car at mechanic shop they said they don't know until
they start investigating, so I think It would be great if I had some idea what
is gonna happen including possible cost of fixing it.

sounds like rod knock..but on the other hand sounds more of a timing issue..check the chain tensioners..cams..so on..pull the valve cover off and check things out...look at the cam lobs for wear

sounds like a timing chain tensioner, or guide.

is it a low knock or a higher pitched knock?
if it sounds like marbles in a can, thats the timing chain guide
a metal on metal thunk would be a rod

Thanks you everyone, your diagnose is right!
Yesterday I spent like 1.5 hr to remove the top chain guide
It is gone right away.
Really curious why the car chain just start rubbing,
it was there before without any noise for at least a year
since the car with me

Thanks

First thing I do to my 4 240s I've owned. Pull the valve cover and pull the freakin guide. There is no need for it and it breaks way too often. Out of the 6 motors I've owned 5 of them all had broken off guides on the upper chain.

Just something to think about. Oh yeah, and thanks Nissan!
