I am wiring in an aftermarket speedometer and the gauge wiring has a constant 12v, switched 12v, ground, and signal wire that goes to the speed sensor. The speed sensor has a black wire and a green wire coming off of it. Is the black ground and green signal? I am confused have read referral forums and the FSM just shows both wires going to the stock cluster. Btw I am deleting cluster and using all aftermarket gauges. Any help would be much apricots as I am stumped on this one and don't want to wire it wrong. Thank you it's an s13

Return your gauge and buy a GPS speedometer by Autometer, you'll hate your life a lot less.
