Weak start? Does this sound normal to you? [Video]
Hi guys, so the car has a weak start for some reason; got the starter and battery checked out, and they tested fine. The positive terminal was corroded so I replaced it but it still sounds kind of weak for the first couple cranks (usually it's like 4 weak sounding cranks til the car starts). What do you guys think about this?

I'd go through and clean all your grounds. It's amazing the havoc caused by corroded terminals and connections. As long as it's starting I wouldn't worry about it. If I had to point at something, I'd say the battery before the starter.

Just realized that it only starts bad after the engine is hot. The longer it's been driven, the harder it is to start. I read that it could be the Coolant temperature sensor or maybe something about the fuel pump?

Clean all your battery connections on the battery, the starter and your main earth. With heat comes resistance, with resistance comes voltage drop to the starter and sluggish starting. If the terminals are dirty you've got resistance from the get go and heat is just adding more. Could also be a starter on the way out and heatsoak is causing internal resistance in the brushes etc and giving the same result.
