I want to know of I was to put a sr in it and take it to emission , where is the plug for the engine scanner going to be located , on lhd it should be under by the pedals , but if you switch to jdm body harness will they still be able to plug the scanner and to check for check engine light and where would it be located ?

the OBD1 Nissan's all used a CONSULT-II connector, this connector was the same one used in Japan from 1989-2002. the Japan cars have this connector on the same location the US cars have it (by the driver kick panel fuse box) so it'll just be on the opposite side of the car.

Ok do you know if when I take the car to emission will they look for this ?
Usually when I take my car to emission they find the obd2 diagnostic plug for check engine light , I've never had a car that doesn't have one ?
