s13 240 skyline gtr hybrid

My goal for my 240 is to make it a hybrid between an RB26DETT and an S13 Silvia. I want to get a front clip from a gtr, cut the inner front fenders that create the engine compartment then weld in the ones from the gtr. My whole issue with this idea is with the wheel bases being about 4-7 inches difference from the gtr to the 240 will I have to custom order a drive shaft for the change over? If anyone has any experience with this or knows anyone who has tried before please let me know. Sgt Wick

The key to this story is I started in Honda went to rx-7 then to evo's and now I am switching to Nissan. I haven't specified in any one brand of tuner since I started. So I have to ask dumb questions to start with.

......Engine compartment has nothing to do with any of that. Frame rails and engine cross member is the issue, as well as front axle and front hub alignment, making space for the transmission/transfer case, custom rear drive shaft is required, hydraulic pumps, and a fuck ton to electronics as well.

Its alot more work than just cutting and welding.

Thanks. This is why I wanted to ask. At one point I had tried to do a 351 Windsor in a focus but that didn't work out the way I wanted.

I would just advise to not even attempt it. If you want a AWD S13 then just buy a R32 GTS4 or GTR

I will try and figure this out. I really want to make this happen. It's my goal now. And I don't give up easily on anything I set in front of myself

I got deployed to Iraq and that's what stopped that project. And by the time I came home my mother had sold the motor and all the other components I needed to complete the car.

My mother is no longer around. Money and skills are not an issue and I will definitely read up on it.

Easiest way would be to buy the Full Race R14 conversion kit, an s14, and a r32 half cut.
