well then how do you expect people to diagnose an issue based on fuel? How do you know how much fuel is going into the engine and whether or not its burning properly?

If you want a guess its probably maf placement related. The maf requires non turbulent positioning, with straight pipe on both ends, and it needs to be placed far enough from the turbo and throttle body to avoid the small perturbations caused by the compressor wheel and water hammer effects of a shutting valve.

Other than that it could be a slew of issues, from air leaks to bad Oxygen sensor but without a wideband to backup data its just guesses. Need much more info
or suggest trying standard procedures,
compression test,
pressure tests (crankcase and intake pathways)
timing test

its definitely the ebay short shifter causing the problem

start by checking for vacuum leaks

what are you using for cam gears? iirc the 248/248 cam gear swap needs an adjustable cam gear to get the new cam into correct position.

I see a short ram intake, how far away is the MAF sensor from the throttle body?

Better yet, were there fuel trim corrections in that SAFC. Either way, car is bogging because its running rich when he comes off the throttle.
