2000 Mirage / Evo 4.5 widebody
2000 mirage that is probably the only Evo 4 widebody in USA and maybe entire world.
The bumper is speculated to be a one off custom bumper made by Phoenix Power for one of their show cars. Somehow it made its way to USA. All the rest of the evo panels are oem except for the fenders which are FRP dureflex products with frp wheel well liners. The car has the following parts: Wilwood custom 13" big brake kit with 3000gt master cylinder. 89Mirageman rear disc conversion KYB rally spec struts and springs (very stiff ride) Greddy 50state legal muffler. Enkei Nt03M 17x7.5" wheels Evo replica recaro front seats and Evo9 rear seats with matching door cards All interior panels changed to black and grey (beige plastics were sprayed black) Evo9 black carpet JDM GSR momo steering wheel Evo8 Vortex generator JDM power folding mirrors and JDM color matched door handles New front wheel bearings and ball joints Engine is stock 4g93 1.8 with automatic transmission (Great engine and transmission, runs awesome thats why I dont really want to swap it out for a 4g63) I did some maintenance to the engine, gave it a full tune up, fixed leaky valve cover, changed accessory belts. No leaks and no smoke The buyer will get a free 4g93 turbo manifold. The bad: The Hood, Front bumper and Front fenders, Rear fender arches and Rear driver quarter panel has DIY paint and should get professionally resprayed. When I bought the car the front was pretty mangled, I pulled most of it out except for the lower section of the radiator support. This section is still pushed in and it causes the engine to vibrate. This is because the crossmember with the front and rear motor mounts is attached to this portion of the radiator support. If the car is idling on an incline some vibration can be felt. I was planning to get the radiator support straightened and get the parts repainted and sell it for a higher price but I decided to leave it the way it is now and sell the car at a lower price. This makes the car more affordable and the new owner can get the repairs done later. Im asking $4000 for the car in its current state which is a bargain since the exterior panels and wheels are worth almost that much. $4000 with wheels $3200 without wheels Car is located in Queens, NY Vin: JA3AY26C6YU048597 I have no idea how many miles are on the car. I bought it around 120,000 miles and I switched speedometers several times since. Currently it has a USDM speedometer with EVO6 dials. Im estimating I put around 3000 miles on it since I bought it. I have several cars so my cars dont get much miles added to them. If I remember right theres a dude in hawaii who built his own evo 4 down to the drivetrain.
I believe it was featured on grip video over 10 years ago.

^Ah, this car is definitely just as nice to look at as the one you and I are thinking of.
I'm in Iraq right now. If this is still available when I get home next month, Id like to work something out with ya.
