Hey guys I just moved to town. And got myself an s13 here. Was hoping to meet new people and learn a couple of things. Also does anyone know a smog place that will pass cars with sr swaps? Cheers

I just moved here and saw a few 240s, 3 was on friday at tropicana in the in & out parking lot and i saw an orange s13 driving passes the red rock casino.

Just wanted to see if that was anyone on here.

Does anybody know if there's any other shops in the Vegas area that works on and tunes 240s? I normally have my work done at DDS performance but it seems like lately there never there or open. Thanks guys.

Hey Everyone.

Name is Corey. I'm in the finishing stages of an SR20DET Red Top in my 70 Datsun 510. Reason coming to this section is that I need help and would greatly appreciate it.

My Problem: With the car at idle, when I press on the throttle the car bogs down. If I go very slowly into the throttle it will be fine but when I press down hard it just bogs down. So I started to check the voltage on the TPS. What I came to find out is this. Pin 37 ( thining from the top of my head ) Green/Red is the power supply to the TPS. Should have 5v, I have 0. Then my signal wire (white pin 20) from my understanding should get power based on the position of the throttle. And at this one Im getting around 4.5V. No change when the throttle is moved.

So after going through this I was thinking my ECU could be bad. What I would like to do is if anyone has a know working spare laying around or would be willing for me to borrow theirs from their car so I can test it I would be greatful. I will include a case of beer, dinner, or something of Equal value lol.

Unplug your maf or your o2's. try running open loop to see.

I have tried both already. No difference. Im 100% positive it has to do with the TPS. I was facetiming a friend from a 510 forum that has a SR20 in his and he showed me how to check for power they way I described above. No power.

Trevtec is good. I hear a lot of good things about dds though.

Ok so we've been hearing about this cruise I've been mentioning left and right. I've met and talked to many people. The time has come and decided that the 1st of December will be the date of the cruise!!! It'll be the day before ifo if you know anyone with a 240 let them know we'll be meeting at 230 at galleria mall!!! As far as the photographer I will be needing 5$ from every participant. The cruise will consist of meeting up at the mall wait for some people to get there. Once that's done we'll be headed to lake Las Vegas for the cruise and pics. Nice place to cruise. Very clean no bumps or dips, plus the pics will look insane!!!! After that we plan on having dinner all together. Text me so I know you will be able to come!! And so I can tally up the amount of people coming.
