Nippon Piston Ring (NPR) is the actual supplier of genuine Nissan OEM pistons and piston rings for most of their cars up to the last few years.

Following OE replacement pistons are available:

KA24E pistons (sold in sets of 4):

11-600-0 - 89.00mm bore, 1 set available
11-600-2 - 89.50mm bore, 18 sets available
11-600-4 - 90.00mm bore, 17 sets available

KA24DE pistons (sold in sets of 4):

11-598-3 - 89.75mm bore, 10 sets available
11-598-4 - 90.00mm bore, 2 sets available

$160 shipped in the US for a set of 4 pistons.

They only have products for US market vehicles. Any out of stock or special order piston requires 200pcs MOQ. If you want FWD DE then yes it’s available

Plenty of other options out there for SR guys, plus most don?t do stock rebuild.

How about factory flat-top pistons 9.1:1 for the KA-E? Early KA-Es had 9.1 cr, then lowered to 8.6. The flat-top pistons were later marketed as Nismo parts and also used in L24 engines.

I've essentially abandoned this project as the interest was not worth the expense/time invested.

What were the main challenges or reasons that led to abandoning the project, considering the investment of time and expense?
