Need help, think my clutch slave cyl is bad?
I have a recently swapped rb25det s1 s13. I am almost done but I think I need a slave cylinder but I don't want to buy one if you guys think it's something else. (Pressure plate ect..) I tried bleeding my clutch because when I bought the car with the rb25 already swapped in (but not completely swapped yet), i noticed the clutch pedal was suctioned to the floor because it had no pressure. I can pull the pedal up to the normal location but when I press it it just stays on the floor and doesn't come back up. I bled the clutch Slave cylinder and it got a rad better but still not drivable. Do u guys think it's the slave cylinder bad or the guy might have installed the clutch wrong? And is there a part # I can use at a parts store for the slave if that's the problem?

Probably air in the lines or a leak somewhere. Replace the master and slave and put in a Stainless clutch line while you are at it. Those parts are pretty cheap to replace.

Is the dampening loop still here for the clutch? It's a little box on the passenger side of the car running to the clutch. If thats there then you will need a good bit of bleeding before you get any clutch pressure. Best to remove it if not already.

Jesus Christ, just replace both your cylinders for good measure, it'll be like 50 bucks.
Spend thousands on swaps, refuse to spend 50 bucks on necessities. C'mon people.
