FS: 1996 Nissan 240sx with 819wHP VH45DE-T
I am sad to say that I am letting go of my 1996 Nissan 240sx. This car has been lots of fun. After finding the stock-internal limit of my VH45DE to be 819wHP, and watching the rotating assembly put 2 holes through the engine block, I have not had the time to swap another engine back in. The car basically went straight from the dyno room back into my garage, where it has sat for 8 years now. :frown:
The engine's internals were ALL stock, so swapping in another used stock engine should be all it takes. Anyway, here's the high-level specs: Engine: Infiniti Q45 V8 (4.5L, DOHC, ALL STOCK) Transmission: 300zx twin turbo 5-speed Clutch: SPEC stage 5 sintered iron disc Transmission Adapter: Water-jet cut adapter plate, milled bell housing Engine & Trans Mounts: Custom, solid steel mounts Turbo: Garrett 72mm from a Detroit Diesel engine, 60mm wastegate with external dump Intercooler: 24” x 12” x 3” fed by 3” mandrel-bent tubing Fuel: E85 or 93 octane Engine Management: AEM EMS, Low-Impedance Injector Driver Board Fuel Injectors: 150 lb/hr low-impedance Fuel Pumps: 3 parallel in-tank Walbro 255HP's staged at boost levels Fuel System: -10AN Feed to Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator Cooling system: Radiator relocated to trunk to make space for turbo Driveshaft: Custom Intake Manifold: Custom, CAD CFD-Designed, short-runner, balanced plenums Exhaust Manifolds: Stock tubular manifolds re-designed to point forward Exhaust: 4” Diameter w/ resonator & muffler Rear End: Stock, welded spider gears Interior: 10 point 1-3/4” roll cage Included Extras: Many extra Nissan parts in my garage! I have a lot! Power: 819 wHP / 727 wTQ @ 20psi boost (stock rods broke) 759 wHP / 685 wTQ @ 18psi boost Pictures/Info: https://drive.google.com/open?id=16_...oySHgl-askfJe4 Keep in mind the car has been sitting for 8 years in my garage. It is dusty and dirty. This car is the opposite of a "show car", but I have never been one for body work. so, if im reading this correctly. the car still has the broken rods in it (and possibly two holes in the block)? therefore the car is no longer making 819 hp.
it makes 0 hp. |

That's right. So, how can I get you into this car today? How about I top off the fuel tank for you or shine the flat tires it sits on?

Now $2,000 OBO. Here's some pictures of the condition it's in.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-C...MfENIGwHrZ2tYm Price includes any other Nissan parts I have in my garage (MAF's, injectors, ECUs, engine heads, alternators, PS pumps, AC compressors, starters, etc). The garage needs to be cleaned out!
