OEM Nissan Complete Engine Gasket Kit - Compatibility?

I'm trying to find out whether or not somebody knows if the Nissan SR20det complete gasket kits are interchangeable between Redtop and Blacktop motors.

Nissan part #10101-50F25 is designated for Redtop, while #10101-50F27 is designated for Blacktop; however, some vendors/stores have one part # listed as compatible for both.

Can anybody confirm or deny for sure that the kits are the same? Thanks in advance for any help...

I can't think of any gasket difference between S13 Red and Black engines outside of the late Kouki blacktops using a different ecu and coolant temp sensor.

Someone else reached out and said that "the oil pickup gasket is O-ring for one, and flat gasket for the other"...but then they also went on to say that "they are interchangeable."

Sorry for the stupid question, but if that 1 gasket comes in 2 different variants, doesn't that mean it would only work properly for one motor and not both?

It depends on which oil pickup tube you have or are going to use. The s13 pickup tube uses an o-ring, the S14/15 pickup tube uses a flat gasket. If your engine has the early s13 oil pickup tube it's recommended to upgrade it to the 14/15 pickup tube that is a better design and bolts on.
Also I believe the Kouki blacktops came with the later s14/15 pickup tube already installed, hence the different part supplied in the kit.

Ok, if this^ last part is the case then that makes sense...because I was under the impression that all "Blacktop" motors were S13.
