The worst part about trailer wheels is that rep companies do up to 15x9 and in some cases 10's now. I'd much rather see those than some dumb circle track racer crap. XXR, Rota, China special, whatever as long as its sized right and looks decent.

I don't know if I agree. As someone who's had his fair share of real wheels and is currently looking at used replicas w/tires I'd have to say that the decision to go with replicas BRAND NEW is wrong to a certain degree. How often do you hear the "Didn't skimp on engine parts. Got a bulletproof trans!" as a reason for having replica wheels? My reason is I'm trying to sell my FRS and my TEs...so I'm fucking poor right now but I need tires. Why buy tires for the OE wheels when I can get some replicas for the same price as tires themselves? I realize it's a bit hypocritical but we're on the internet. More specifically, we're on Zilvia.

If I was at the same intersection and thought a car looked awesome, then got closer and saw that the wheels were replicas, I wouldn't say it takes the car to a zero but it's definitely cringe-worthy. It makes you wonder what else the owner skimped on.

Good points. I mean, we are all have our own valid opinions. I guess my bullshit tolerance is just slightly higher then yours but I definitely get your point.

I suppose what I am saying is if the over all presentation is clean, no glaring bullshit adders just to be "in your face" then I'm usually down with it. Wheels are a big part of the overall package though. At least we can agree steel trailer wheels certainly don't belong.

Like that coupe you posted, if it weren't for the stickers and lame ass tow hook "charm" I would probably be ok with it.
All one color, decent shape, questionable wheel color for sure though. However color preference varies.
Man its sad that "all one color" and "decent shape" is all I need to go, "hey! not bad!" nowadays haha.
