S14:Koni 8611 w/ veilside180sx housings full set
Looking to sell my set of 8611s:
8611-1257RACE front and rear double adjustable shocks 2x Koni rebound adjuster knobs S14 Veilside180sx housings with Z32 provision in the rear Ground control spring perches Torrington bearings on the perches to prevent spring bind Tein pillowball front and rear top hats Hypercoil 650# front springs Eibach 550# rear springs I can swap the springs out as well for no additional cost. I have extra pairs of: Eibach 2.5 ID x 6" 700# Eibach 2.5 ID x 6" 450# Eibach 2.5 ID x 6" 350# These inserts were purchased brand new through a Koni vendor on Jan 13th, 2018. They're in great shape with <500 public road miles and 7 track events, 4 of which were run at low speed in the rain. These shocks have been nothing short of fantastic; just going in a different direction with the car. I can also include a pair of Z32 NA rear uprights with stock bushings and conical ball joint spacers at the asking price if requested. Asking SOLD shipped to the lower 48 Will consider reasonable offers and wheel trades. Looking in particular for 18x10.5 -5 to +20 offsets OR 18x11 0 to +15 square sets. It was a simple question after I saw some clapped out looking coils. After I read through found plenty of info on this setup, including it doesn’t go to the low I’m looking to achieve. Even after reading, still wouldn’t spend that much, but someone will. Thanks for your comment though

Bump it up. This setup is defintely as other posters have been saying, they truly are a level above the rest of the offerings for S chassis. I can confidently say they're better than custom built feal 441s having owned a set prior to this one. It was worth every last dime.
Just a note about ride height, the rear housings on this kit are very low. This pic was shot at 1/2 perch height setting in the front and the top of the perches in the rear. The fronts still had ~2" of travel at this ride height with 0 chance of bottoming out: |

Talks about top of the line coils.....states these don't go low enough hahahahah.
The two are mutually exclusive. Top of the line coils are focused on damping, not dumping Last edited by RalliartRsX; 02-19-2019 at 11:12 AM.. |

Yea, I'm not sure where this "they don't go low" talk comes from. Maybe the very very early prototypes, but after that they have plenty of travel to get very low. You'll run decent size tires into the unibody before you run out of damper travel really.
