Okay, so i test fitted the 18x11.5 +3

PRE-NOTE - I can still return the 6 inch lips, and go to a 5 inch lip (my buddy works at the shop that re-barreled them)... new size would be 18x10.5 +12 if i went to a 5 inch lip.

BE SURE and look below for questions

Here they are on stock fenders
[img[http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/577683_10100838071899224_23307162_51953293_2894390 81_n.jpg[/img]

Here they are with 30mm Overfenders.

What do you guys think? does it look too mexi? i dont want to add any more camber.

should i go to 18x10.5 or keep it at 18x11.5?

will a stretched 255 give enough "bevel" to make it not look dumb?

does anyone have reference pics?

Bow out the fender, you can get way more then 30mm out of it if you squeeze the bottom two sections of the fender in toward the wheel well. Then you just rivet them in place.

Thats deff an option.

How did you do yours? It looks like you cut and welded in a rounded piece of sheet metal on yours. How did you do it? I love it.

I don't know how skilled you are in body work, but you can shavethe lip off the flare then use some fiberglass to extend the lip out....could look pretty sick....

What size Tire Should I get for my 19x10 rear wheels?
Cant decide if I need 255/30, 255/35 or even a 265/35/30 or something?

I don't want a super Beefy tire and want some strech. 19" tire put you in a whole new Ballgame due to the sidewall changes.
18's I know alot more about.

The outside metal on my car is all OEM. I cut out the inside metal and did a minitub out back, but you can't see that from the outside. It wasn't as smooth as it is now before it was painted, used some bondo to smooth it out because hammers are only so forgiving.

A 255/35/19 is like 26" tall. What sized tire are you running up front? I think a 255/30/19 will put you in a more normal tire height range for a 240....but that will be an expensive ass tire.

well,I got some Free 225/40/19 off a friends old RX8 - and Found a couple 255/35/19's used and New for $260 shipped for the pair.
*255/35 is literately a ball hair shorter in diameter than a 225/40/19 from what i see. They are Almost the same.
Couldn't pass up free tires so I need to try to Make use of them if i can.
I almost bought 245/35's but a 10" needs more beef than that.

Anyone Used Achilles Tires?
do they run Big like federals? I love Feddy's but they run to Bulky for what I'm trying to achieve.

I need to get my car on the ground with some tires soon si i can Test fit everything.

Speaking of flaring the metal...how exactly did you do it with the dolly? Beat the fender out as much as possible from the inside, then put the dolly underneat and beat with the hammer outside to reshape the metal into a flare? I need to do this shit eventually, just hate dealing with bondo. Oh yah, did you just use straight bondo or used a fiber/hair to fill first then bondo to smooth out?

why not just keep your cool sized wheels and get some 50mm fenders instead?

I dont think 50mm would truly be enough, the 30mm are actually sticking out more than 30mm because they are being pushed by the pull on the stock fender....

50mm should be enough.

right now i am running an 18x10 +18 on stock metal with just a roll. my new wheels that will be going on are 18x12 -7 and that sticks out exactly 50mm further than my current wheels.

your 11.5 +3 should fit under 50's no problem.

Your rear looks almost like it has pos camber.

Did you droop the spring?

If i back off to a 5.5 inch lip (from 6) i will be 18x11 +10... will that work with that stock fenders (note the pull) or will it poke too much still?

It will be hard to tell until you mount a tire and get the car back on the ground, but I don't think it will be too bad. But it all depends on personal opinion. I took spacers off the rear of my car and I don't like the look as much without the spacers.

So once I get my alignment, I'll probably put the spacers back on.

old , new
Diameter 615mm(24.21), 651mm (25.62 inches)

Circumference 1932.1mm , 2045.2mm

Poke 42.6mm , 81.6mm

Inset 122.6mm , 121.6mm

Speedo error 0% , -5.53%

Reading at 30mph 30mph , 28.34mph

Reading at 60mph 60mph , 56.68mph

Ride height gain 0mm , 18mm

Arch gap loss 0mm , 18mm

shouldn't the diameter stay the same if the sidewall and rim size are the same? from 15x6.5 -> 15x8????

I went out and measured it to double check. I have on now, 195/60/15s but the calcu over at will they fit.com says the set up is 24 inches, but I measured it and its 23 1/4" = 584.2mm

so why is the diameter changing if it's the same size rim (height) and sidewall?

link-> http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php...&Submit=Submit

I'm trying here yall...

there is no way to tell man. i dont know how far your fenders are pulled or what size tires you are going to run. shit like this is really a trial and error type of process at the point you are at now. i planned mine WAY out in advance so i'd know exactly what i needed to make it fit.

Thats just about exactly what I did with the hammer and dolly. I didn't use a hammer and dolly out back though. I just used sledge hammers and a fender roller. Up front I used sledge hammers and a hammer/dolly. I am not sure what kind of filler was used as the body shop that painted the car dealt with that part.
