I have an opportunity to purchase an OE sr20det trans for my s13, my stupid question is the trans comes with an s14 driveshaft. Are they the same as s13 as in it will bolt right in?

Should there be anything else im looking for? The trans that is in the vehicle currently is the OE trans that came with the car with the KA. Obviously the trans bolts right up to the sr20, im just wondering about the driveshaft. I don't want to drive 300 miles to buy something that is not going to bolt right up. Thanks in advance!

Sorry, but the S13 and S14 driveshafts are not the same. You also have to look into weather you need one with abs or not. The front section of the driveshafts are the same between the s13 and s14, but the rear sections differ, and there you have your problem.

If you have an S13 with a manual trans, the driveshaft will work with the SR20DET manual trans. You won't even need the S14 driveshaft the guy is selling.
