Looking to buy a nardi wheel. Can anyone list a few reputable online dealers? I found some on amazon but i feel like those could be knock offs. Thank you!

Ka24e bogs down when I press gas down too quickly. if ease into gas then I can drive around, if I press gas hard the bogging starts and then only gets worse from there, idles great. Usually happens when the car is warm because I started it and it was letting me into the higher rpm but after a while it doesn’t
Ignition timing will NOT even touch the first marking on the left, when it should be near the right at 15 btdc would the car drive if it was 180 out though Please help me |

also check for leaking fuel injectors, and intake leaks or tears in the intake couplers

Is it possible that the markings on the pulley aren’t true anymore? It looks like it’s been pulled off before
If so I’m going to retard the timing a little and see if it helps |

But the balance cannonly be installed one way, it is keyed Best todo is set cylinder 1 on compression stroke, sticknlong acrew driver down sparkplug hole...turn motor so timing markmlines up with pin..that should be the highest the piton goes....if its not, the balance is damged and no good |

I took my 240 through emissions and everything passed except
Equipment inspection Air system - fail I have some hoses capped where I deleted some emissions parts, if I just ran some hoses around so that there weren’t any caps to see then I would pass? |

I have recently stumbled upon a mint 240sx, with 165k miles. I have no experience with any s chassis, and I wanted to use this as a learning platform for bigger projects. I was wondering, would it be ok to build a 165k mile Ka24de for a small 400hp build or should I swap out the engine? I don't know until what mileage a Ka24 lasts good to build.

If your intent was to leave the engine internals as it, idk about 400hp but they'll do 300 all day long. |

-your budget -fuel you plan on using. 300whp on pump gas or 400whp on e85? -plans for the car. is this going to be a daily driver or drag strip only? -condition of the engine. mileage isn't as relevant. you could have shit compression at 100k miles, or great compression at 200k. go through and check/test compression and leakdown. If you're aiming at a reliable 300whp on a KA, i'd be considering a built bottom end anyways. |

*if your car was already 5spd, your driveshaft should be fine. if it was auto, you will prob need to change to a 5spd driveshaft. if you have an ABS diff (and I don't think any 1989-90 s13 came with abs) then you need an ABS manual driveshaft (they're a few inches SHORTER than non-abs driveshaft, since the snout on the ABS diff is LONGER than a standard non-abs diff. |

if you can't afford it outright, you don't NEED it. there are still plenty of reputable locations to source a motor from. do your research, and understand that the one that quotes you the lowest price will not be the same as the place that will offer you a compression and leakdown test, or fire up the engine for you and prove that it runs. IchibanJDM is who I would personally go to first. |
