Yeah I love this place.... Just way more information and people who actually know about the s chassis.....

But I think its dying out cause Street Factions just closed up and I think just this chassis is pretty much too old for anyone to obtain now.

Cheers Zilvia.
I don't think its dying out by any means, I think if anything there has been more of a demand for OEM re-pop parts, which is quite nice.

i wasn't even around here when the s-chassis crowd seems to have been at its peak. i'm kinda jealous. my friends did have one s-chassis meet in connecticut that i managed to keep my shit running/driving long enough for it to get to - it was a really great time.

Happy New Years everyone. Still love to come here everyone in a while but miss the older days alot. Really wish more builds were on here, instagram & reddit just dont cut it for me most of the time.

I feel like there was more passion on here.

Anway enough ranting. Hope everyone builds go well this year.

NGL, surfing zilvia, and some schassis youtube content helped solidify my ignorant decision to buy another schassis. Love that this domain is hanging on!

Happy New Year!....

Yeah I think the real passionates are definitely staying around! I've done 7 track days in 2024 in my 240sx.... and will continue to track it and refine it.... I hope to get around my local tracks, Laguna, Sonoma, Thunderhill as close to a new stock supra as possible. That is sort of my benchmarks....

I've been updating the Motorsports Threads with my track days.... so hopefully more will pitch in!!!..

Love this place, thanks everyone for continuing to come back and keeping it alive.

I put Special Interest plates on my s13 yesterday because it's old af and I don't drive it very much at all.

Feeling real old today!

Happy New Year, love that there are a bunch of nerds still playing with these relics.

I'm still here, and my car still ain't done...LOL! I'm glad this site is still around though, even if it seems like it's running on a 56k modem, and how many ads there are. But hey, if that's what keeps the site running, so be it. I'm hoping it's still around when my car is done so that I can at least post my completed build after all these years.

Still rocking my 97 240sx with 2jz turbo. Although i must admit this chassis is getting too expensive and OEM parts are becoming too too pricey and scarce. I cant imagine what an OEM+ Build will set you back in 2025 lol.

For this year the 2JZ is getting forged pistons, rods cams etc going to track it have fun then its going for sale.

2025 BRZ is what i have my eyes on in the future.\

Happy New Years

Installed cams and pole position last year. Car is still a blast to drive and so rare in my area. Glad Zilvia is still kicking

Haven't posted in years, but I'm still lurking, looking at builds. I still have my 240, with the OG SR Swap, and after tinkering and building other cars, she's on deck. Wish I would have got more parts when they were cheaper, but....we are here now.

I know that feeling. Drift tax boy!! From 2000's hike to 2004 jump then it just leaped. Btw I'm a fellow sr20 in my s13, my s14 is ka-t and both are hard to parts for reasonable prices

The thing is 2020 was a great time to start a business selling products, 2024 that fomo and people investing in hobbies went out the door with worrying how to survive in a bad economy.

Can't really say its mismanagement on their part, shit just happens.

Still here, occasionally lurk to see what's happening. S chassis are indeed getting expensive. Luckily most of us held onto ours. But the good thing is, at least kids have a similar chassis with the new BRZ/GR86. Makes me hopeful for the future. I recommend all the old heads start collecting now since it will for sure be a classic in the future, just like S chassis.

My plans this year for my CA18 S13 is alignment, R35 MAF wired in, tune on PowerFC, B&M shifter, shifter springs, Sparco Seats, GK Tech ebrake cables/extender, Swift Springs, fit/spray my chuki fender extensions, respray headlight popup covers and I think I'll call it good for 2025 at least. Still got much more on the docket though.

Hoping to get on track this year. I heard Apple Valley Raceway is a cool spot in SoCal.

Based on what I heard with SF, it definitely had to do with other reasons.

S-chassis market is actually pretty strong at the moment. Sales have been steady and I've definitely had busier years recently compared to even 5+ years ago. Seeing all time highs for lots of OEM parts that Nissan discontinued.

Definitely happy to see Zilvia still around. I do wish we could do more with the forum to bring back how-to's again as well as build threads using current tech / tooling / software. I've met so many younger people starting off with S-chassis. They frequently mention Zilvia and how it helped them troubleshoot some of the problems they came across, but really wish the pictures were still up.

Thats unfortunate. I really liked what SF was doing for the most part. I felt their parts were of quality and really doing stuff domestically that haven't been done before at least prior to covid.

Yeah OEM stuff for sure, I agree with you everyone is OE+ nowadays and really going to be restomod type cars now. i was talking to DorkiDori same for him. People are just only interested in OE+, so longer really modifying.

I did do a LinkECU reference thread, would love a mod to sticky that..... I think it will help a lot of people swapping into more modern ecu.
