S13 vs S14 Head gasket mixup

Can a KA24de Felpro S13 head gasket be placed by mistake on a KA24de S14 motor? And if so, will it fail within a short period? Thank you.

It should be completely OK. The factory does list two different part numbers but the only difference seems to be a couple of the passages have slightly thicker rings around them?

I've personally put S14 heads on S13 blocks, and aftermarket-design metal gaskets like Cometic, Cosworth, and Tomei just make one design for all KA24DEs. I think they're safely interchangeable. The S14 design is probably better but I never really hear of S13 head gaskets failing in unboosted cars
