Gatekeeping and tribalism exist for a reason.

People are picky. Not every choice can be made objectively; we're not robots. I'm extremely subjective- certain decisions add depth and texture to builds and can flip a switch where a car I would normally hate is done so well that I can ignore stylistic decisions or engine choices.

Part of the point of this thread isn't that stylistic deviations from the norm are always wrong, it's when they're done poorly that they're wrong.

PS- TE knockoffs are objectively worse and should be melted down into railings because the aluminum isn't good for anything else.
