ka24de wont start, no spark

i did the headgasket on my ka24de and got it all put together and I had no spark anywhere then just messing with wires a little i got spark and it still didnt start. then i realized i had put the gas lines on backwards and switched those around and the car fired right back up. Now i went to fix a couple more things and the car started and went to start it again and it didnt start and im back to having no spark, but have fuel. need help, i have all the timing on the distributor and cams perfect
