you need to measure how much the clutch slave rod extends when you push down the clutch pedal. if its not extending fully (air in the system or clutch pedal not adjusted properly) then the clutch will not be disengaging properly

also, what pivot ball do you have? there are at least 2 different lengths.

I changed the clutch master bleed it but third feels a little funny only if I am spinning into third gear shifting at 8000 rpm which is every time I hit gas in second no stopping that But I am gonna try oem shifter the clutch fork was moving proper when I checked also regular driving in perfect I think it’s just the mazworx shifter idk I would love to figure this out

Careful on the mount selection, the cheaper ones wont fit in the cross member. I just bought a Drift Freaq trans mount, dimensionally the same as OEM. Will have to let you know how she pans out

I had issues using the Gktech solid mount and Gktech crossmember. i had to cut down the solid mount so that it looked similiar to an oem mount for it to mount up right on the cross member.

Ordered a new megan racing mount just havent had a chance to install it.

After doing a shit ton of research and watching countless videos on youtube I finally bit the bullet and ordered the SerialNine bellhousing and shifter for the JZ-CD009 swap. Got a brand new CD00A on the way as well. Ill keep you guys posted on this swap.

BTW I've seen some horror stories with these other adapter kits such as exploding flywheels so be careful out there guys!

Can anyone recommend a good trans mount/bracket? The serialnine kit doesn't come with one so I have to get that separate. Thanks

I used it and it's a good kit. only problem I had was pilot bushing wasn't the right size.

Ended up going with a full serialnine setup and competition clutch after watching a ton of videos and reviews on some of these other kits.

So for folks with shifters which utilize the nylon shifter cup; has anyone experienced issues with the shifter popping out of the cup after a 1-2 or 2-3 or any shift?? It has happened several times now, and I am hoping it's not a design issue (I am on a Hook shifter) and it's just a worn out shifter cup.

Sounds like a design issue or adjustment issue. GKtech also used the Nylon cup design and mine never popped out or had issues in that regard.

Is a "Hook" shifter the brand or what? Never heard of.

When I did the mazworx kit I used an OsGiken TS2BD dampened twin disc clutch. Also used their specific throw out bearing and bearing carrier, as it’s different length than a single disc carrier.

Anyone using the a340 kit with a serial nine shifter in a s14 or even s13? Also if anyone is using a340, hows the t56 slave setup working for you? (drifting not just normal driving)

From looking at my R154 & CD009 side by side on the ground it looks like the serialnine shifter is dead on. Should be in next weekend. I can give you better feedback then

I think the OEM based setup is a little different. The shifter bushing itelf is brass. However, the shifter sits in a plastic cup.

Hoke (I spelled it incorrectly initially) was a small scale company. However, the guy closed down shop about a year ago to focus on family
https://hokeperformance.squarespace....-shifter-mount

Either way, I ordered a BNIB cup from Z1. We will see how it goes

ATS twin plate carbon carbon. Will probably be up for sale in the next month or so if anyone wants it. Used with a Mazworx bell housing and standard SR20 clutch hardware (fork, clutch line, pivot and slave). Works perfectly!

I'm on clutchmasters fx850 twin. OS/Ogura is king though. What kind of clutch master cylinder are you using? if stock, it may not extend far enough depending on air gap between pp and throw out bearing.
