I can tell you from just setting the oil pan on the subframe directly it does not hang below it.
Everything seems pretty straight forward...when I get this bell housing crap situated I will be getting it all in the car.

Cool. Do you have v2 or v3 oil pan? Either way they both should clear the crossmember. Good $h!t.
Also are you considering using a accusump? People seem to swear by it. Even for non race applications. |

Sorry I've been quite for a little bit on this thread! I am still working on the car, I just had to wait on some suspension parts that have been holding me up from pushing my car back onto the trailer.
I can answer the couple of questions first: My wheels are 17X10/11 +7/+12 The cost is still unsure as I haven't finished! It should be quite a bit under 10k though - and 3300 of that came from selling my SR swap. I believe I have the V3 oil pan and I am not planning on using an accusump, so we'll see how that goes! I was going to go to bed early tonight but I came home and found a package sitting on the table......................... It was my shock mount spherical bearings!!! I happened to get my uprights back from welding yesterday, so you can bet your ass I was ready to get this crap back together and see how it fits! I had to install the sphericals by drifting it in with a 36mm socket (a 34 would have been better) and hammer, so the very edge of the bearing housing got a little dinged up but the bearing still moved smoothly. I got one in and am going to get the other one pressed in tomorrow - time is a major factor for me in the next 48 hours and I was excited so that's why I didn't wait to get them both pressed in. Here are some pictures, they can do the talking: The housing is more banged up on the other side, but like I said the bearing moves freely. On the car! Its a hair closer then I want on one side so I may grind down the misalignment spacer on one side about a mm so the shock mount will shift over just a tad. Overall I definitely thing was well worth the $125 bucks I spend on the welding. I also got my Z33 inner tie rods in and was pleased to find out that they are the same length and offer more adjustability range then the S14 tien inner/outer set. I took some pictures to compare the size differences. Again, the pictures can do the talking: Threaded all the way down. Threaded all the way out - I believe the custom outers I put together can thread out a little more and still be safe. I attempted to get the car to my friend's shop a few weeks ago but my other tie rods prevented me from doing it properly. We got it out in the street and that was all she wrote. I took the opportuny to take a few pictures. I can't wait to get the motor in and see how the front sits!

Getting new bits in the mail always gives me a nice feeling HAHA! I'm sure it's the way for you since it's one step closer to completing this and actually driving it...

Some pictures other people took of the car at the Sumospeed Spring Meet this past Saturday...I rolled the car up there with the help of my friend and his trailer. My side skirts and rear valances showed up in the mail the day before, so I was excited I could at least kind of see what it'll all look like. I had sold my OEM aero because I was going to run a kit, but I like OEM stuff too much, and the GP Sports bumper flows with it all awesomely.

This set is going to be my 'street set' - which basically just means it'll be the nicer of the two. The front wheels will stay on all the time and I'll have 6 17X11 +12s to drift on.
The street set will have polished lips and I am not 100% decided on a face color yet. The black ones will keep the black face and I am going to do something fun with the lips since one set has a few little scuffs on them and I do NOT have the patience to fully polish a set of these lips.
