my gf said i am not spending enough time with her....
i work 60 hrs per week (but i have to wake up at like 5:30 to make it to work by 7am) and then go to school 20 hrs per week (after work i look like a scrub and drive 1-2 hrs in traffic to go to class- often late too)..... not to mention the time i have to do hw and study? so it is a 10 hrs commute per week
what abt sleep... i talk to her on the phone everytime for atleast 2 hrs.......which makes 14 hrs per week...
60+20+14+10=104hrs per week
there is only 24*7= 168 per week....
she said to me sooner or later she is going to make me pick between cars and her.... i spend every other weekend with her, which is a must, and i often try to spend every weekend with her on like a Sunday or something... i work Monday- Sat....
last night (sat) i went to a  burn off (burning tires) and she complained

My gf is kinda the same way, but there will never be enough time to get everything done that you want too. Even with no job I find myself running around like a madman trying to get everything done, and I just ended up being with my GF during the day and then going to do stuff with my car at night. Makes my days a little longer but there is no way to fit it all in. =(

Look at it this way ....is this a chick you want to spend your life with? ...or the night with?

Your working +60hrs a week? (Ouch!) ...but, why?

You have an hour and a half commute to work, blek! Move?

Try and work on your stressors in life. If you don't really care about sitting in traffic and that its going to take you 10min. longer than if you try and weave, cut people off, and block people out you can get home less stressed. People have told me many times to go back to school, I dropped out. I look at them and I see a bunch of unhappy mice going thru their maze to get a piece of cheeze to take home. I have some thing that their well paying jobs can't give them, I like my job.  Its summer see if you can take a few days off and have a mid-life crisis to help you evaluate where you've been and where you really want to go.

How much time do you spend on your car? &nbsp; How long have you been with your girlfriend? &nbsp;Nobody can tell you to choose between your girlfriend and your car--that's a really tough call. &nbsp; Are you truly happy with your girlfriend? &nbsp;I hope we can help you clear your mind a bit, but it's hard to give advice when it's a boyfriend-girlfriend-car triangle. &nbsp; I never told my BF to choose between me and his car, but when he started to notice that I would get bitchy when he constantly talked about his car and the mods he wanted, he stopped talking about it as much. &nbsp; It helped me because I then began to ask him questions, and when I got my 240, I was actually able to relate to some things that he was saying. &nbsp;I don't know if this would do any good for you, but it's just a thought.

i been with her for too long, coming up to be 5 yrs... on and off relationship.....
she used to be cool and support this... but since i have so much happening in my life she wants all my free time... sometimes she causes more stress than i actually need... my car only makes me stressed when i have to repair something....
i think i rather be single today if i could break it off.... but i have invest 5 yrs of my life, and what if i could never get her back?
ok last sat she slept over after i took her to the mall, sun we went to six flags, then work, work , work the whole week, school also with finals...then friday after work and finals i went to shot pool for 2 hrs (WHY NOT MY GF? she lives 30 min away from me, and she is lazy and i have to drive her there and back) then Sat after work i went to watch people do burn outs... sunday i was going to go drag racing in ME but then i told her i rather spend the day with her and she said i didnt have to, i felt sick and napped the whole day....now monday i work from 6am-5pm.. and working on tuesday from 5:15am-<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

That sucks. &nbsp;5 years is a long time, but if she isn't making you happy anymore, and she won't drive to see you (you have to drive 30min to pick her up and then take her back to your place), she has a problem, not you. &nbsp; She needs to figure out what she wants from you (casual sleep-overs on the weekends, or you--for a committment), and she needs to realize that you spend more time with her than on your car. &nbsp; It sounds like you're spending a lot of time and money on the relationship, but she's not giving anything back to you. &nbsp;I think you're giving the relationship everything you can. &nbsp;Of course, there's always 2 sides to every story, but you can't be that bad of a guy if you've been with her for 5 years, trying to work full-time, go to school, and have a moment or 2 of fun on your own. &nbsp; When you talk for 2 hours on the phone, is it long distance? &nbsp;Does she call you, or do you call her? &nbsp;I don't think you're doing anything wrong, but I'm not there with you two. &nbsp; But it sounds like she's having problems with herself, not you.

Just my female, opinionated .02

Guys Night Out.

My friends and I go out to dinner every Thursday night. &nbsp;I choose Thurs. because it doesn't interfer with weekend activities and you tend not to stay out as late on a week night. &nbsp; We've found that its been really good and tend to enforce it on each other. &nbsp; Its our time to go hang out with the guys and bitch about life ...basically vent. &nbsp;Go to work Friday a little hung sometimes but generally refreshed and ready to take on the weekend. &nbsp;I too work Monday thru Saturday with the nasty hours. &nbsp;I have to get up at 2:30am during the week to get ready for work and then tackle the day till noon. &nbsp; I've found having structured times to let loose really helps.

...just some more options

But, that's what girls are supposed to do! &nbsp;sorry--j/k &nbsp;Yes, us girls are very good at making guys feel guilty. &nbsp;Unfortunately, I don't know how to cure that--I still do it once in a while! &nbsp;I'm treading on thin-enough water just by giving my opinion on a relationship problem! &nbsp; But, maybe you should tell her what she does that makes you unhappy, and maybe she'll tell you exactly what is happening to make her act the way she is acting.

Relationships sometimes seem worthless at a point like this. &nbsp; But you 2 have been together for 5 years--there has got to be something special between you 2. &nbsp;I'm hoping you two can work it out.

We can't change what we like it is a part of what we are. Your girlfriend needs to accept that your liking of cars (240's) is a part of what you do, and you can't change who you are.

I had the same problem yesterday, and it worked!!

it worked? i basicly told her to accept it but then she makes me feel bad abt not spending time with her, someitmes it is a simple word like &quot;FINE&quot; (but with sarcasimn and attitude mixed with lost of hope and sadness in her voice)

my life is messed up.... this is the update.. that is why u guys have not seen me around....
i told her i am unhappy with her and i need to find myself.. we r still bf/gf but just kinda not talking much but i talked abt break up and she wont let go.. while i have been a dick and the womanizer i am and met a few girls... 1 has a child who is 7 in a few days and she will be 21 in Nov (yeah i can hear the GOD DAMNS)...i like her alot and we get along great but she dont wanna go out, i dont know if it is me or is it the truth to what she is telling me- she dont want one cuz she said she cant handle one.... *SIGH* she likes/loves cars and motocycles but she hates racing cuz it is unsafe and dont wanna hear abt my racing or speeding.... the other night she called my cell and i was racing a predule in boston and i had my friend pick up cuz we were fly at over 100 mph in heavy flow traffic and she was not too thrilled with me....
*SIGH* just got off the phone with her and she just aint looking.... *sigh* i thought i would have a problem with the baggage but i like her enough to not even care.... so u see how much i like this girl, and i just met her, i am usually not like that....
WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME? my life shits with other unrelated bad stuff but i am still smiling....
i am smiling cuz that girl told me to smile and i have not yet stopped.....

I'd be REALLY careful about the 21-year old. &nbsp; She was awful young when her child was born, and she may not know what she wants--a boyfriend or someone to father her child. &nbsp; If you and your gf are still 'officially&quot; together, but kinda taking a break to figure yourselves out, you need to figure yourself out w/o another girl involved--it will only cloud your judgement. &nbsp; You've been with your gf a long time, and this new girl (the 21yo) has something different than what you're used to, so you may not be seeing anything that bugs you, so please don't get too attached (been there, done that).

I'm glad you have fun w/ the 21yo, but I'd definitely be careful--don't want you to get hurt worse than the 5-year relationship has hurt you. &nbsp; If you're seeing other girls, please, just break the relationship with the long-term girl, because you're only going to hurt her worse, and possibly hurt yourself worse.

luna: i heard ya... actually my friend called me from australia and she reminded me of what i said a few months ago when we were talking, i said &quot;i could not see myself raising someone else's child&quot; this was said before i met this girl.... and now my views have changed, maybe i like her so much i dont care anymore and actually i wanna chill with her son even without her. i am kinda considered to think very mature for my age, and i guess this is what makes me and her connect.. she thinks the same way as me and we both try to escape from our friends cause we feel they are too immature in their life and caught up to us yet.........
hhahah this post is becoming like a &quot;Loveline&quot;(on MTV) thing.....
luna: u also said find someone else better, what if i dont? and she is a single women, single mother....... my fun is also turning into an obession
do u people really still want me as president? am i a womanizer? and i being bad?

Bro,

&nbsp; &nbsp;2016 I want to be your running mate! &nbsp;I got a job workig for Jeb Bush governor of your beautiful state, Florida! &nbsp;Ok now that I got that out of the way. &nbsp;Hey man you know, i figure it this way. &nbsp;I felt like that when i broke up with my ex she was really cool, we never fought. &nbsp;Then I transfered down to FSU. &nbsp;For the first semester It sucked but then I found a great girl, and I'm still her, and I could be happier. &nbsp;All my fraternity bros, give me grief.They are always like you are here at Florida State, and there is nothing here Hot Ass Women! &nbsp;But I'm happy with my baby, and I would give her up for anyone! &nbsp;So I guess, All I have to say is that the most important thing is that she makes you happy! &nbsp;If you really don't care about her kid then you have my blessing! &nbsp;Personally I dn't think i could do it. &nbsp;How's the kid's father? &nbsp;Will he make your life miserable? &nbsp;Are u ready with the dad if the situation arises? &nbsp;
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Good Luck!
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Lou

do u all remember my post abt the girl i liked with the kid?
well her son's b-day is today... aug 8th... and he is 7.. she took the day off to spend with him.... then she never got to see him cuz she was murdered
http://boston.com/dailyne....:.shtml
i liked this girl alot and we actually just started going out.... i just got home from the homocide unit.... it is kinda my fault.... 10:15 i told her i was on my way there but then i decided i wanted a haircut, 10:30 got off the phone and then 11:20 called her and no one picked up... showed up and the house and street is police lined off... she said she was doing laundry... laundry that i offered to help her do last night, and maybe if she said i could then she would be ok today... or maybe if i didnt go get my haircut she would be in my arms now...
how do u answer a kid asking &quot;where is my mommy? she promised to take me out, is the policemen downstairs talking about my mommy? Is my mommy ok?&quot;
how do u answer that on his birthday....

R.I.P karen, i did love u but never got a chance to say it. i know u will read this in heaven cuz u r an internet junkie.... *MUAH* thank u for being a part in my life

wow that takes alot off my chest....
