Am I able to just drop a s14 ka into my sohc s13? I have the s14 ka harness, and ecu. I heard that i need to change the intake mani and dizzy to s13. Is there a way around it? Will an s14 harness work with with an s13? motor is out of a 97 s14 and the harness it out of a 95 s14. Thanks

This has been covered more than the bible itself. Search next time.

The KA will drop in. You don't need the s13 intake or distributor so long as you're using an s14 harness on an s14 motor. You'll need to rewire the dash plug with the plug off the sohc harness. Not sure what that entails for an s14 harness, but it should be fairly simple. You'll need dohc power steering lines and dohc ac lines if you want those to work.

You're 100% sure i wont need to buy 13 DE dizzy 13 DE harness and 13 DE mani 13 DE comp and MAF? I was told i would need all that to get it to work with my sohc chassis

There is more different than just the dash harness. In order for me to use an s14 harness and s14 ka in my 90 I had to modify 2 plugs on the harness in addition to the dash harness. Not to mention s14 and s13 motors have different sized coolant hoses.
