This one jumped out and bit me right on the boo boo one time because I didnt replace it before a new shorty block install and turned out I had a leaky one when everything was installed,Though a small oil leak what happens is oil will get all over the friction clutch plates and depending on how bad the leak your cluch will be toast, mine lasted about a month with leaky rear main seal.

One thing you gotta consider is these motors mostley come from cars in a junk yard and who knows why that car made it to the yard to begin with.

I have cleaned it up quite a bit.
1. No more boost leaks or vacuum issues
2. Driveshaft installed
3. Gauges wired and working... old pic now removing the retarded air fuel and replacing it with digital temp gauge. Wideband 02 on order
4. Exhaust installed w test pipe. Loud!!
5. Installed new fuel pump relay and rewire to ecu pin 18. Took me forever to realize it was -ground not power lol

Now just got bumper and fenders and waiting on hood to align and install kouki conversion.

Backed it out to work on my pathfinder for a day. Figure I could snap a few pics

little clip of my fresh install

https://youtu.be/eeedoUT4RGQ

Yes I know some of you are not fans of the large tach.... I want an accurate readout of rpms.

just testing the engine revs. Testing out the new cometic gasket for intake. The freddy manifold came with one but it was a thin piece of metal that leaked air.

Testing out real Greddy bov. Need to adjust as its fluttering (too tight)

Testing boost pressure, oil pressure and some sweeet sexy exhaust sound

I noticed all your lines from your MC are steel braided. Are those custom or did you buy them as a kit?

Still working on the kit.
Yes its duramax. Yes the fenders are crap fitment. However the front and rear bumper and side skirts arent that bad.

Working slowly on cutting so the fiberglass doesnt split

Lots of prep and sanding needed.

Again not great fitment but nothing I cant handle.
ill post before and after filler

Sides look much better and fit well

Hard to see in this pic, but I trimmed the edges and the corners of the fiberglass so it would sit flush and align for better appearance
