S14 240sx VQ35de / Nismo gt lsd, Tein super Drifts, Clean Title! Make Offer
SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (RELIST due to the 2 bump limit - lower price) For Sale: 1996 Nissan 240sx which I have been building over the last year. It is a full conversion, turning a 240 into a 350z (minus the chassis). The car is registered until September next year and I have a clean title in hand. I previously had this posted and it was red, but since then I have painted black and vinyl'd it white. The paint and vinyl aren't perfect but its a whole lot better than it was. Please PM me or respond to the thread with any questions on the build. The car is now $9999 obo and there is a little wiggle room in the price so shoot me an offer but no super low ball offers please. Most everything in this car is very high quality and despite some minor cosmetic issues, the car runs awesome and there is well over 15k in parts alone (see list below). This car is meant to be a daily driver and a weekend track car. PM me or call/txt at 951-663-125two if interested, serious offers only. The bads: - fenders, doors, and rear bumper have some dents and the dash molding (fiberglass work) isn't perfect but its ok - wheels are g35 beaters, still 18in but a little beat up, one is scratched but still true (newly painted as well) The rest is all good. Here is a list of what is in the car: Engine/trans 81k Motordyne plenum spacer new water pump new belts new head bolts and head gaskets at 75k arp head studs included but not installed new 6 puck ceramic stage 2 clutch resurfaced dual mass flywheel new crank sensor Mishimoto silicone red cooling hoses (upper and lower radiator and heater lines) JWT pop charger (CARB Legal) noname downtube (CARB Legal) UPREV Tune (worth $500 alone) with no NATS and no CEL, runs like a dream 350z fuel pump and full CA legal EVAP system Suspension Tein super drift coil-overs (less than 500 miles!) no name front tension rods (adjustable) rear Tanabe traction links (adjustable) rear Tanabe toe links (adjustable) NISMO power brace SPL tie rod ends (adjustable) Megan Front Sway bar Megan rear sway bar (not installed) NISMO GT 2 way LSD (the best in my humble opinion) custom McKinney balanced driveshaft Brakes nissan 300zx tt front and rear drilled/slotted rotors EBC green brake pads all around steel braided lines 350z ABS computer for speedo but no ABS hooked up Radiator no name dual core aluminum radiator with twin electric fans Battery new duralast vq battery (not the small kind) Interior stock interior molded dash (not perfect but ok) with 350z guage cluster and 350z mid gauge pods 350z A/c full system charged and runs cold! full electronic pedal assembly installed brand new jvc head unit 2 front speakers installed driver and passenger 350z window and door lock switches installed and functional defrost, wipers, and rear defrost all work as do blinkers and hazards OMP Racing seat with custom welded floor rails for better head clearance NRG Quick release on no-name steering wheel Turn Signals, mid gauge pods (mid dash), and full working computer with gas mileage, temperature, etc all installed and working Full 2005 Nissan 350z wire harness with ECU, BCM, IPDM, NATS disabled through Uprev Exterior only rear no name lights and rearview mirrors with turn signals no body kit, stock body, but looks nice low tinted power rear and side windows Exhaust full cat installed 350z exhaust to lengthened NISMO Y Pipe heat wrapped to full 3.5in pipe to Wicked muffler with silencer (removable) sounds mean even with cats I also have a Tanabe resonator I can throw in for anyone interested Kit McKinney engine mounts McKinney trans mount with energy suspension VQSwaps trans adaptor B&M Short shifter Chase bays aluminum power steering kit with power steering cooler installed but not hooked up oil cooler and remote oil filter with American AN fittings Wheels Infinity G35 black front and rear, mediocre condition All Nissan 350z parts are from a donor 2005 350z Pics: whole car other side Rear View Drivers cab view Pass Cab View Under Hood View after new paint Engine Front View Front Drivers View Rear Diff with Full 3" exhaust view Front Cats with oil pan and swaybar as well as NISMO power brace view Inside head to show how new the head gaskets and cams are, no oil staining yet Last edited by psycle123; 10-25-2013 at 10:47 AM.. VERY clean and excellent work. I just feel like this will be a very tough sell though. It will take the right buyer to pay for a 10k 17 year old chassy with a V6 not V8. Awesome work though, if I sell my car and/or truck soon I'll for sure hit you up.

You would be hard pressed to find an nice 81k 05 350z for 10k stock, let alone with any upgrades. Now, I know this isn't a 350z, its a hybrid, and that's why I list it here. That's also why I have listed it a few times and haven't dropped the price much. And I know its not perfect, but its worth every bit of 10k if you look up what most legit swaps are selling for. I could part it out and get 10k. But it's not worth it to me, I want the next owner to appreciate it as I do, a bad-ass 240. Hope to hear back from ya |

During a normal smog test, you can be missing 2 systems not showing "ready" and still pass, but with an engine swap, they want to see them all green or its an auto fail at the ref. Then you take it to the ref, pay them 8 bucks for the smog fee, they inspect it and put a ref sticker under the hood or in the door jam and you are good. Its now smogged as a 350z. I havent taken this car to the ref because I am selling it and have a current smog and its registered till September so I havent had a need to yet. But all systems are green and when the registration comes up and I need a smog, thats where I will take it if I havent sold it yet. Either way, she is ready to go, and I went through a ton of work to make sure its legal in CA. As for those who are concerned about the price, I don't see any offers lol. You all can read my previous post about the parts in the car and such, I never expect to get out what I put in, but I wont accept lowball offers either. Make a reasonable offer, you might be suprised. Thanks for the interest! |
