I have a handful of small questions:

1. What kind of flare are these? (S13, lines to steering rack)

2. Is there a tool I can use to make them at home?

3. How do you "unbend" steel tubing to bend it to a different shape?

4. Do I have to use steel lines/fittings for power steering?

5. Not sure of the name for this, but I know what it does. Is it absolutely necessary?

1. Can't remember. Someone else chime in!
2. Look for a "flaring kit"
Brake Pipe Flaring Kit
3. Not sure if you could without weakening the metal. But if you could I would assume pipe bender would work.
https://www.europaspares.com/BRAKE_P...PBT__2707.html
4. Again, not 100% positive.
5. No, get rid of it.

The KA trannies are identical. They bolt up to either SOHC or DOHC.

Have a pleasant day.

I would say yes it should be, but it's not exactly a part you want to have to replace twice.

And honestly, what does a rear main seal cost? $20? Just get the right one...

Edit, appears to be the same.

Im 99% sure they are the same. To double check just go to an auto parts website and see if they use the same part number.

When doing an Auto to 5 Speed swap can you avoid having to do the little bit of extra wiring if you remove the Automatic lower harness and replace it with the 5 Speed lower harness?

when doing auto to manual the only wiring needed to be done is connecting the inhibitor(sp) wire together and your optional reverse lights.

so if i was going to swap in an SR, having a harness that was originally auto wouldn't matter, correct? i am under the impression that it wouldn't but i just want to make sure.

I have two questions:

1 what number wedge bulbs do I need to replace my stock indicater bulbs in my gauge cluster. I'm doing an LED swap. I already bought the big 194 bulbs for the backlighting.(i still have to buy a red 194 for the batt. indicater)

2 I've heard that the LED bulbs for the green blinker indicater arrows aren't compatible because of the anolog signal. or is it wired into the turn signal switch, wich clicks on and off like a digital signal?? thanx in advance!
