Rear Brakes AGAIN

I spent at least an hour searching this forum for an answer to this. I will freely admit my search-fu may not be strong.

I am working on my daughter's S14 project. Just did coilovers, and changed to 5 lug hubs.

Front has Z32 rotors and calipers from a 300z.

REAR is driving me nuts.

I bought z32 rotors which CLEARLY do not fit with the stock calipers.

Is there any way to use the stock caliper with a bracket or with modification on a z32 rotor? I own a machine shop so modification or custom brackets is OK.

I know all about using the entire Z32 setup in the rear but I am trying to keep it simple.

Well... I'm sure you could make something but the Z32 rotor is completely different for one primary reason; The Z32 uses a drum-brake style e-brake which is completely different from the S14. If you want to keep it simple.... why not just buy cheap S14 rear rotors?

https://importnut.net/300zxbrakeswap.htm

Some detailed info showing pictures of the conversion process and differences between the two.

To my knowledge, no one has attempted what you're asking but, hey, anything is possible...

The SE variant of the S14 has 5-lug hubs so if it were me, I'd just buy S14 rotors for that application.

If u own a machine shop and can make custom brackets then why are u asking? JUST MAKE THE BRACKETS.

this makes no sense...

Cause it doesn't look like it's possible to make a bracket to use it, frankly. The geometry doesn't look right.

Welcome to new ZILVIA. I apologize for above and all future insults from "leftover members" of what used to be very useful forum.

Return that rotors and consider using Altima (2001?) rotors with z31 (1988?) brackets. You will get lighter and bigger rotors that work with stock s14 calipers. Also I think GKTECH make rear rotors upgrade kit for stock calipers.

I will get back with links if you can't find more information.
