MonkeyDude's Onevia build!

Hi
I am from Norway, and I got 1 of 4 (maybe 5) street legal 240sx s13 over here
I bought this car when I was 17 and has worked hard in two years to build my dream car! Picked it up for 8k, and has already used more then that in just parts, and still can't drive it, haha.
It's from 91, and came to Norway in 97 from texas. It got abused and driven on salty roads for ten years before the radiator broke and the car got abandoned in a ostrich shed....

On the long way throu the country

And time for work!
Before:

After:

It was rust at the other side too :P

while taking out the entire interior, I installed my new bucket seat, hehe

Got to weld in a new quarter panel and som minor body work to. Going to do that at a proper body shop with a friend

And time for aero

Installed Aero Catch pins, hood is way more flush now!

Bought fog lights too, had to make some custom brackets.

I have also done some bodywork, but not too much since a friend is going to do the final touch

Sorry for my grammar if it's bothering someone...

Is that replica Rocketbunny? For some reason, that fitment looks fucked. Congrats on being one of those rare dudes who can whip a S13 like a boss all the way over there in Norway. Good luck! Keep it up!

Thanks! People call my crazy for doing this, everyone says that s13 is a shitty car...
Yes it is a knock of rocket bunny kit... But fitment ins't to bad actually. It't just in the pictures because I ducttaped everything to get a little qlue of the final result But I broke the duck tail, so I ordered a brand new original 6666 kyoto, but it looked like shit!
It's too short, just look at the mounting hole

Cracked

The mounting holes are way more perfeckt one the replica...

I will post some more pictures of the car soon, I have welded in some cool suport brackets for the rear bumper!

19 year old with a show car? Hehe, that will last for two weeks
Allmoust every USA imported car here are from California or Texas, they have minimal rust

Took some pictures today.
This bracket is made of 0,9mm steel with 8mm construction steel. I know the welds looks like crap, but they are verry solid actually. I am using flux wire....

No gap at all!

But need to solve a problem. Had to drill holes in the quarter panels to fit the dzus fastners, got to get some kind of sealing for water and dust. Any ideas?

Doubting those are as tough as you think they are. I would recommend more heat and a slower wire feed.

I tried anything to get this look nice, but the welder is really bad.... No gas, just flux wire :P
It's called "Biltema 140 mig", costed like 150$. Biltema.no is the norwegian answer for ebay lol
It got 4 steps for heat. Step 3 burnt holes immeidiately, not kidding. Step 2 made it look like it does, just played around a little with the wire feed.
My girlfriend welded the three in the midle, and she has one year on some kind of welding and metal sheet school, don't know what too call it haha.
But they are solid so I am just grinding it down and call it a day, need to buy a new welder!

Was thinking about using silicone, but it will probably brake when I realise the dzus.
Gonna try these: Gummigjennomføringer, 125 stk. - Biltema
Lol, Biltema.....
