I like the HKS, much better response and only loud on high rpm.
here a clip of it on a SR of mine with stock exhaust manifold and cat-delete downpipe to the cat-back Stanced S14 drive by - YouTube |

Not looking to buy my exhaust set-up for another 2 weeks, But i think both exhausts sound pretty good its a hard decision but I'm still leaning toward the Greddy. Only other exhaust that might be able to change my mind if someones got a good review on the Apexi N1 since that exhaust would save me $100 over the Greddy. |

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but have you looked into a Buddy Club Spec III ? it has a 4" tip and it sounds really good. I've only had it on a idle then started working on my car. sit's a tad low, but I had old useless rubber hangers and have since upgraded to circuit sports ones.
it's around the same price as a greddy also ( 5-600 depending on the site you go to ) illkraze510: your car int hat vid sounds really good. |

I haven't looked into buddy club spec 3, people in this threat mention spec 2, which is really loud, i just tried looking up spec 3 on youtube and could only find it on an S2k and an STI and they both also sound really loud. I also don't really know anything about "buddy club" as a company as i do very reputable companies like Greddy & HKS

Coincidentally, I also have the GReddy downpipe which I heard is discontinued now as well. Paired up with a Circuit Sports test pipe, it came up short so I had to use a 3" flange to fill the gap

Vendors still might have leftover inventory, though.

All exhaust are only Cat-back. Downpipe is before the cat, so they're seperate. |

i have an hks can welded to an ebay 3inch straight pipe to an ebay 3inch downpipe to the stock manifold on an s14 sr.
it sits high and sounds great, not loud unless you wanna be loud. i think if money is a factor and you want quality, go with an ebay catback with no resonator and buy your greddy or hks can and get that welded on, i mean there really is no difference in the piping to the can, the quality is in the can ebay catback shipped = 115 shipped 1989-1994 NISSAN 240SX 240 SX/SE S13 CATBACK EXHAUST MUFFLER CAT BACK 89-94 KA | eBay ebay downpipe = 60 shipped Nissan 240SX S13 89 90 91 92 93 94 Turbo T304 Downpipe | eBay test pipe = 33 shipped 3 INCH TEST PIPE/TURBO CAT S13/S14 KA24DET/SR20DET | eBay hks 3 inch can = 225 shipped HKS 75mm INLET MUFFLER WRX STI Civic RX7 240SX Supra | eBay welding = 20 max overall price = 453 to your door = lot cheaper and if you want which you prolly will get this for another 100 shipped CIRCUIT SPORTS 3" TURBO ELBOW O2 HOUSING 89-98 NISSAN 240SX S13 S14 SR20 SILVIA | eBay |

heat the pipe up and bend it away from ground, or where it looks like it should be angled up more, cut the pipe through half way with a hacksaw or until you can bend the pipe till the cut closes up, and weld it closed.
low problem solved and still got doe |
