I’ve tried wiggling the key while turning it before and it made no difference. I’ve tried tapping the starter with the key turned to crank position it also made no difference.
It really has me stumped lol.

So when you turn the key are you checking the starter signal wire directly at the plug that goes onto the starter solenoid?
