spring rate will depend on what you plan to DO with the car.
setups vary greatly between a drag car, a stance queen, an autocross/track car, or a D car.
Will also depend what you do with the rest of the car weight wise. Going by the specs a 2JZ-GTE should weigh ~100lb more than a KA. Lots of ways to make that difference up.

Best to just get the car weighed. And not sweat it too much since spring rates usually only increment in whole kg/mm.

And off the shelf 8/6 coilovers are already way more front-biased than stock suspension which was like 2.0/2.0. Motion ratios are close to even f/r with stock geometry.
