Their best chance is that Artest remains somewhat sane and that McGrady and Yao don't fall the fuck apart physically as they have the last few years... Even then, coming off in the west if you're not in New Orleans or LA will be DIFFICULT.

Although that may be true, according to the interviews I read and saw he and Artest are both willing to play whatever role Rick Adelman thinks is best and that may and probably will be both of them coming off the bench (whenever Francis is back...). Because once Battier comes back from injury he is most likely going to be the starter for small forward again. Yea, Francis loves the ball but he's good with it and an agressive bench is what Houston needs. Francis, Brookes, and Artest should work very well together. But only time will tell.
