I used Noico 80mil sound deadening, looks pretty similar to the Killmat you mentioned. Got it off Amazon. That other stuff is DEI under carpet lite insulation that I laid new carpet over. Basically replicated what was under the stock carpet, but with newer/better material.
Over the shifter I used an insulating cone off a G35. Kinda went a little overboard.
