I have a 95 s14 in a datsun 510.
i just bought the car and the thing runs but will not idle and unless i am extremely steady on the gas pedal it will stall out. Or if i move my foot abruptly or try to give it gas to rev it falls on its face like the key got turned off.
Talked with a tech toady I tried pinching the return fuel line off to build pressure to see if my inline pump was delivering. that seemed to check out.
He then said to spray carb cleaner on the maf sensor near the airbox to see if that thing is dirty did that and no real response i will know more for sure tomorrow i cleaned it thoroughly but had to run before i could assemble it all back together.
ANY THOUGHTS ARE HIGHLY APPRECIATED cant tell if its leaned out or rich cant really smell fule but the plugs look kinda black on the threads but the bridge is leaner looking whitsh brown
