So what? Is it deployable? How fast can we mount it on a ship? Would it be practical enough and be able to shoot multiple medium range ICBMs while its on a ship thats moving in a zig-zag pattern and doing atleast 30 knots?
The smallest operational laser we have could barely fit in a fucking 747 and that fucker can only shoot one beam. It also had to recharge a few minutes per shot.
Again, we'd be dead in the water when they kill all our comm...we'd have to restart everything from scratch if China wants to kill our network with a virus.
