I try to stay away from the Roku as much as possible haven't had good luck with them lasting long. When I do an install and the customer wants 4K streaming I supply a 4K BluRey player. Streaming through the Tv will decrease the Tv's life dramatically.
For those that use Apple Tv's they will be releasing a new model here in a month or so that will support ful 4k.

Current hdmi standard, 4k, HDR, 18Gbps, ARC from tv to AVR.
I won't comment on TV's failing from streaming Netflix through them.
I haven't any issues with any of my Roku's failing, sticks or the larger models.
