When I joined 21 years ago that's what most of us had, haha.
I'll be honest, if you asked me back in 2013 if it was worth preserving the stock metal in a convertible I'd say no unless you were planning on cutting it up later to save a coupe. I've softened on verts since but the lesson is, do whatcha want, there's no right way to do it.
