Remove your passenger kick panel and check ECU codes.

I would fix your O2 sensor if you know it's not installed correctly. Try some MAF cleaner as well. Report back when known issues are repaired. Sounds like partial throttle causes the issues, perhaps it could be a vacuum line leak or bad throttle position sensor as well.
