Just like adding too much boost to a stock bottom engine, it will fail faster.

The SR trans will hold about 400 maybe 500hp but after that... its eating itself.
The increased clamping force is adding shock to the drive line, yes that includes the crank thru the trans and into the driveshaft. Inside the trans it would apply that force to the gear and synchro. You're literally banking on all that power to be transferred through a stock gear.

All that money going into make more power and simply sending the trans internals for hardening or even coating would be beneficial. It's always overlooked.

Also, if you're running an upgraded clutch, especially a twin, the Nismo Slave Cylinder is a must.
