Yes there are quite a few available now but when I first started to make my set up (maybe 2-3 years ago) there wasn't anything available in the UK, especially as a lot of those bolt on kits usually want you to get rid of the stock caliper and go for a pair of z32's as you say, at the time the car was still road legal so wanted to have the normal cable handbrake for the MOT.
I may well try some of the other options in the future, a less bulky alternative would be nice, also the car is no longer used or intended to go back on the road so stock handbrake is not essential. Cheers
