Look at that picture and imagine a 6-12" dirt buildup in front of your car. As long as you stay on-line, you'll never hit that, but turn late just once and you would end up hitting one of them.

I don't know if it would hurt the spoiler or not, but I was going to take mine off to repaint it anyway, so I thought it was a good time to do it.

Our field wasn't too bumpy, mainly because the sand in this area is easily moved around by a car. If the dirt where you're at is harder then it might be bumpier.
