Well I highly doubt anybody in this thread is still active, but just in case. A close friend of mine ended up with this car about 4 years ago and shortly after the good ole r154 thrust washer gave out. It sat in his back yard for about 3 1/2 years until I finally talked him out of it. As of a week ago I had the R154 rebuilt twice and the car is back on the road. Also sporting a new kit, new wheels, and an assortment of other goodies twin disc etc. I’ve been searching through all I can find to learn as much as I can of the past renditions of the car. But it is still safe and sound and the JZ still pulls and sounds like a freight train. Glad this info is still available as well as that of prior life. It is still in primer hopefully by the end of the year will be back painted it’s factory deep fuchsia. Next plans following that are a retune and suspension updates. Hell of a car and if somebody is still active that knew of this car I’m going to get updated photos soon.
