For anyone that's set timing on the 2JZ GTE VVTi, I would appreciate your insight on this process. I've read through the IS300 manual a few times and done some research online - the timing process still isn't 100% clear to me. Here's my understanding:

I've done the above before installing the timing belt cover and crank pulley because I want to see if the dots and lines line up. When doing this, the dots on both cams and the crank match up after rotating the crank. Also, all line marks on both cams and the crank line up. Is this right?
