I would really love to answer your questions, but I haven't even installed the dash I'm still trying to figure out an electrical problem. But the WRC guys use the same process I believe so I'm assuming it's pretty durable.

No you will more than likely get adhesive all over the window, and if you take your time putting it on nice and neat the flock won't stick.
